Jenny Pfanenstiel of Formé Millinery
Hatting in Chicago
Jenny Pfenanstiel In 2007, Jenny created her company Formé Millinery, to showcase her art and love for hats, for women, children and men. Her goal is to bring vintage fashion to all generations. Jenny spent the last couple of years studying and learning the ancient methods of hat making.

Today, she creates her hats by steaming and blocking felt and straw over old wooden hat blocks as a true couture milliner. She is also known for taking once admired embellishments and materials, some dating back to the early 1900's, and incorporating these pieces into her hats. She enjoys searching high and low at estate sales for that perfect antique buckle, bead, or vintage veiling that helps make her hats a true one-of-a-kind piece.

Jenny is excited that her cloche hats will be featured in the October issue of Country Living Magazine and she will also be a featured designer in the Country Living Fair in Ohio later this month, the Apparel Industry Board Fashion Event in November and Chicago's One of a Kind Show in December.

From Cocktail Hats, to Blocking Straw and Sinamay, to working with Jinsin, Crin or Strawbraid there's a course on offer for you. Visit Jenny's website for more details and see some of her creations.
