RED in the city

My friends Heidi and Chris got married last weekend. Their ceremony was very personal and emotional. Heidi started the ceremony by playing Ave Maria on her flute! After the vows, I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. Even the officiant was teared up.

They had a vintage theme, and their invitations noted "Vintage attire suggested - Optional of course." I had to be ready to go from Heidi and Chris's festivities to another wedding at 4:30pm, so I dressed for both celebrations. It was fun to see how people embraced the theme with hats, accessories, and dresses.

Heidi's hat was made by her friend and milliner Jenny Gerst of Forme Millinery. Both Heidi and Chris were so happy on Saturday, but Heidi looked especially joyful, which was special to see.
