Jenny Pfanenstiel, the creative designer behind Forme Millinery, has brought her designs to Louisville for this Derby season. The milliner, who was featured in this month's British Vogue, is puting her skills on display by making custom Couture hats and selling some of her exquisite ready to wear pieces at Les Filles Boutique at Westport Village.

I was able to chat with this incredible artist and asked her where she gets her inspiration.

"This hat come to me in a dream," Pfanenstiel said while pointing to one of her beautiful creations. She also informed me that a lot of her inspiration comes while actually making the pieces themselves, and the shapes the material takes while she is working with it.

Although this will only be the designer's second year in Louisville, she plans to make Derby an annual thing, which is simply a treat for us locals.
