With 1920s style cloches turning up all over the place, it's not surprising that the Windy City is at the forefront of the current hat revival. Jenny Pfanenstiel, of Forme Millinery, recently got in touch to tell us about some of the exciting hatty events happening in Chicago over the next few weeks.
First of all, five Chicago Milliners, including Jenny, will be showcasing their hats during a trunk show at the fabulous Curly Tale Gallery at 16 West Erie until December 2nd. Open evenings will take place on November 17th and 19th, a chance for people to stop by, meet the milliners and try/buy hats for both men and women.
There's also the AIBI Made In Chicago Pop Up Store at 44 E. Grand, which opens from today until December 31st. Jenny is one of the 21 Chicago artists to have been selected to participate in this event. She will also be participating in the amazing One of a Kind Show at the Merchandise Mart from December 1st - 4th, where she will be selling hats from all of her collections and will be a featured artist in the OOAK fashion show. If you'd like to meet Jenny at this show, she'd love for you to stop by her booth at 8-8033.
